The AES1711 is AuthenTec's fourth generation high performance slide sensor for the wireless market — combining AuthenTec's proven size, security and touch-powered features with an expanded I/O voltage range, very low power consumption, and enhanced aesthetics and durability.

 

The AES1711 protects access to the phone's stored information and enables operators to provide profitable new mobile commerce and wireless banking services. The device also acts as a secure gateway to expanded wireless services such as the mobile web, secure content and application downloads, gaming, VoIP, camera and e-mail — all with no impact to the normal charging cycle of the phone.
