Overview
AuthenTec's AES850 is the world’s smallest multi-function smart sensor that expands the touch-based functionality of today's touchscreen and QWERTY smartphones without compromising sensor performance or durability.

This easy-to-integrate sensor adds fingerprint authentication functions to optical trackpad-like touch control. An on-chip full image buffer eliminates real-time software constraints and enables wake-on-authentication.
